We are actively tackling the daunting task of educating those in our community about diabetes - how to prevent it as well as how to live with it. And, the disease itself often leads patients down a path towards the need to receive dialysis treatments. Diabetes has reached epidemic levels in the Northeast Kingdom, and one third of people with diabetes don't even know they have the disease.

We are looking to you to participate. Form a team, walk on your own, raise pledges, make a contribution yourself, to help with outreach in our community! For more information call the hospital's development office, 334-4186.
